Rome Weather
Due to Rome’s proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, the city has been blessed with a longer summer than usual, which makes visiting the beaches enjoyable right from May through to October.
If you are planning a visit to the Eternal City then it is best to head over during the spring or autumn.
Many people mistakenly assume that the climate in Rome is purely Mediterranean seeing as it is so close to the area.
However, it is actually similar to temperate climate as well due to the fact that Rome is close to the Apennines and close to 20 miles from the sea.
