Paris is the capitol city of France and is the country’s most popular city.
With a tourist rate of 45 million people every year it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
There are lots of iconic landmarks amongst its many attractions, including world-famous institutions and popular parks. Such as Disneyland resort paris, Jardin du luxembourg and The Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower is the most recognised landmark in Paris however it is also one of the most well known landmarks in the world. It was built during 1887 and 1889 , and overall has 3 floors. Inside are restaurants and bars etc.

Another main attraction is disney land resort paris, which is a theme park that consists of roller coasters, and lots of other rides suitable for most age groups. It originates from walt disneyland USA. It is famous for its parades and shows. Some famous rides are : Big thunder mountain, Tower of terror, rock‘n roller coaster.

Jardin du luxembourg is a famous garden, it is the biggest public park in Paris. In the garden is Luxembourg Palace. It has statues, some of former french queens ,water basins where children sail model boats, orchards and also has a puppet theatre. The garden is famous for its calm atmosphere. There is a small cafe restaurant under the trees where many people enjoy a glass of wine or a croissant

The Lourve is a french museum. It is the most visited museum in the world and has nearly 35000 objects from prehistory to the 19th century. It is home to the great Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo Da Vinci. The museum opened in 1793.

Another main attraction is Arc de Triomphe which is in the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle. Inside of the Arc are all the names of generals and wars fought. It is 45 meters wide and 49.5 meters tall.
